Milton JUnior School stuents at Milton Farm learning about animal husbandry

At Milton Junior School, we want to expose our students to as many different skill sets as we can. We know that traditional academics do not suit everyone so we want our students to find out about vocational skills such as agriculture.

Our school is surrounded by a vibrant rural community and we want our students to have the knowledge to support our local economy in the future. For those students intent on becoming pilots, doctors or engineers, learning about agricultural work will develop empathy for their neighbours and further their understanding of our local community.

We have included Agricultural Studies as part of our 2023 curriculum and we look forward to adding more vocational studies as Milton Junior School develops. Visit our Blog to find out about our most recent practical activities.
