Deworming & Vitamin A
At Milton Junior School, the health and well-being of our students is paramount. We have a 6-monthly programme to give our younger students essential Vitamin A and deworming tablets.
Vitamin A tablets have been shown to decrease the severity of a number of childhood infections and illnesses such as diarrhoea and measles. It has also been shown to increase overall childhood survival rates from extreme sickness.
We know that worm infections weaken a child’s immune system and prevents them getting the required nutrients from the food they eat.
By combining both essential tablets, we cause minimum disruption to lessons with maximum impact on the health of our little ones!
