Taekwondo Club Update
The Milton Junior School Taekwondo Club continues to go from strength to strength!
This month our students took part in their first official competition, the Campeonato Provincial de Taekwondo in Chimoio. The whole team did exceptionally well, with some stellar individual results winning a range of medals from Bronze to Gold! A huge congratulations to everyone who took part. We can’t wait to see them take part in their next competitive event!
Our students also took part in an official Grading session marking continued progress in their Taekwondo journey.
Taekwondo has coloured belt ranks from beginner to advanced called Kup Grades. Gradings test a student’s knowledge of basic technique, self defence and sparring skills. All of students start at 10th Kup (white) and aim to achieve 1st Kup (black belt).
Congratulations to everyone who took part. It was an exciting day marking another step forward for the MJS Taekwondo Club!
