Tree Planting Project

Milton Junior School is on a mission to plant 1000 trees at Milton Farm!

We are part of the One More Tree initiative - a global movement that promotes reforestation one tree at a time.

We teach our students about the negative consequences of deforestation such as loss of animal habitat and climate change. We demonstrate how reforestation helps the environment to recover, how growing trees help to ‘clean’ the air around us and how forests provide shelter, food and protection for animals and ourselves.

We encourage our students to find ways to take positive action now in order to build a better future for themselves and others!
